Providing for Students in Need
In order for Towson University students to thrive academically and emerge as future leaders, it is crucial for them to have a reliable foundation of essentials, including food, shelter, and medicine. Unfortunately, some TU students find themselves grappling not only with the pursuit of academic mastery but also the added stress of uncertainty regarding the fulfillment of these fundamental needs.
The Student Emergency and Food Insecurity Fund provides a philanthropic avenue for students to address these challenges and continue to flourish in their educational pursuits. Your gift also supports the TU Basic Needs Hub—a vital on-campus resource that connects students to essential services like food, clothing, and other basic needs.
A donation to the fund also covers other necessities such as rent and prescription cost, helping students navigate the challenges associated with resource uncertainty. Contributions make an immediate impact.
Current TU faculty and staff can also support the fund through payroll deduction by clicking here.
