Providing for Students in Need
As everyone deals with the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, Towson University students are facing new hardships around the concept of remote learning. The tools required - computer access, internet access, a place to study and more - are variables most students don't face when they're on campus. Added to the stress of paying for basic necessities, this is a challenge unlike many our students have faced before.
The Student Emergency and Food Insecurity Fund provides a philanthropic avenue for students to face those challenges and continue to thrive in their educational pursuits. A donation to the fund can provide for basic necessities like food, rent, or prescriptions, and it can help students navigate the challenges associated with remote learning. Contributions to the fund can make an immediate impact.
Current TU faculty and staff can also support the fund through payroll deduction by clicking here.
