The Sandra R. Berman Center for Humanity, Tolerance and Holocaust Education aims to collaborate with Maryland educators to advance Holocaust education and empower future generations. Through educational programs and commemorative events, the center focuses on helping future generations understand the repercussions of intolerance while promoting empathy, tolerance, and social responsibility to build a better world.
Gifts to the Sandra R. Berman Humanity, Tolerance, and Holocaust Education Endowment provide support for programming in TU's College of Liberal Arts that will expand knowledge and promote awareness of the Holocaust among leaders, educators, students, and community members that includes but is not limited to K-12 program development, a summer institute for educators, lectures, events, workshops, and study abroad programs.
