Friendly Competition to Celebrate a TU Legend
In fall 2019, Towson University honored and celebrated Dr. Julius "Dean" Chapman's service as TU's first Dean of Minority Affairs by unveiling a bust and a quadrangle in his honor. That quadrangle is now set to honor all nine National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations - the Divine Nine - so what better way to fundraise for that effort than a little friendly competition?
Set to begin construction in summer 2022, TU is building a physical tribute to each of the Divine Nine organizations at the entrance to Chapman Quad (a rendering provided by the architecture firm Ayers Saint Gross can be seen above), with a fundraising goal of at least $75,000. This will provide a space for students and alumni to gather and celebrate these organizations and their impact, but the fundraising effort is a chance to earn bragging rights!
Select the NPHC organization you'd like to credit with your gift (below), and the fraternity or sorority who "wins" will forever have the pride of leading the way in honoring the Divine Nine and their impact on TU.
