George E. "Dewey" Barnes Scholarship Endowment

Dewey Barnes '91, a four-year letterwinner and former team captain for Towson Football, transitioned into eternity on Labor Day 2018, but his legacy lives on through the establishment of the George E. "Dewey" Barnes Scholarship Endowment.

Dewey was the founder of Dedicated Fitness Personal Training in Germantown, MD. He had a profound impact on his clients' lives, not only helping them with their personal fitness goals but also providing life coaching and support through difficult times. His death was a tragedy to his family and friends, and to all those associated with Towson football. But his legacy will live on for the Tigers through the student-athletes who receive the scholarship named in his memory.

Thanks to your support, we work together to ensure this scholarship has a positive impact on the lives of student-athletes. As Dewey was fond of saying to his teammates and clients, "U GOT THIS!"
